I visit Galena once a month and Simply Elegant Boutique is a must stop on my list! I love the LTB Roxy jeans...I get loads of compliments. Robin even suggested getting them in 2 different lengths....one for flats and one for heels. Great advice!

Good Morning, I visited your store in May and absolutely loved shopping there. Since then, I have purchased items online and by phone. I live in South Carolina but grew up in Chicago and have yet to find a boutique that that lives up to Simply Elegant Boutique. When I wear your items, I get tons of compliments, especially on your Cyrus sweaters and shirts and wrap dresses. Stephanie arrived with minimal makeup on and usually wore black eyeliner and mascara and a coppery lip. My goal was to soften her look to compliment her beautiful, blonde hair and lighter complexion. After removing all makeup, Stephanie’s transformation began with our Vital Moisturizer, Retexturizing Face Primer and Mineral Liquid Powder Foundation in Tender Beige to give her a truly flawless, soft complexion to compliment her skin tone. Smoky Mauve and Alabaster Eye Shadow, soft brown eyeliner and dark brown mascara brought her brown/green eyes to the forefront. Soft, Pink-Kisses Blush and our Port Automatic Lip liner accented with our Pink Kisses Lip Lacquer complete her new, fresh, sophisticated look.

Here's a pic of Linda's transformation from her "mommy" jeans and tucked in henley to her more updated look. I advised her out of the tapered, high-waisted pant and into a more straight leg pant (or capri) that immediately took 15 pounds off her "look". Her Alberto Makali twin set gives her an elegant more sophisticated style that is both beautiful and versatile for everyday use. The scoop neckline also opens her up, gives her a more approachable feel and adds the illusion of being taller. Her reaction to her new look was immediately transparent as she stood a little taller, beaming from ear to ear telling me how pretty she felt.
Thank you Linda for giving us the opportunity to share some wardrobing tips with you and for modeling for our store. You were a stunning representation - you are "Simply Elegant" and.... You are truely beautiful inside and out. :) Robin. |

While Simply Elegant Boutique celebrates 13 years, I celebrate knowing Robin and "the store" for 10. What started out as a great getaway weekend in Galena with my now husband, has turned into a wonderful relationship with Robin. From day one, she has had the ability to know exactly what I wanted (even when I didn't) and has dressed me for the successes in my life, both professional and for those days of "just fun". Robin has a special gift with people -- a gift that she integrates into the daily realm of the retail world. She truly cares about each one of her customers and treats them as if they were the only customer. More than a testimonial, this is a tribute to Robin and the Simply Elegant Boutique girls.
